The MediSpa Team at Orange Grove has researched and trained in the benefits of Salt Therapy and are delighted to offer Halotherapy Treatments at Orange Grove.
You can choose to do either of them, as a treatment option, or we offer a combined “package” where we guarantee you will leave feeling amazing!
What are the two salt treatments?
The Salt Room utilizes a halogenerator to grind and crush 99.99% Pure Grade Medical Sodium Chloride (salt) into micronized particles that are dispersed into a room that works to aid respiratory concerns and skin conditions.
As the halogenerator grinds the salt into micro-particles, it blows the salt into the room, making it appear hazy. You may begin at this point to feel a tickle in your nose or throat, you may start to sniffle or cough. This actually means the salt particles are beginning to absorb the foreign substances in your respiratory tract and are assisting your body in eliminating them from your system.
Your relaxing session in the Salt Room is 30 minutes. You simply sit, relax and breathe, possibly a time to meditate.
One Halotherapy treatment will start to relieve many conditions, several treatments over 1-3 months will give greater benefits.
Please refrain from wearing perfume, cologne, or heavy scented lotions when coming in for salt therapy.
Please wear comfortable clothing …Or we can provide you with a robe and blanket. You will simply put your feet up and relax in our comfortable salt room chair. Once your treatment session begins, we encourage you to practice deep breathing, inhaling through your nose, to get the full benefit of the dry salt.
Disposable foot covers are provided and must be worn in the salt room.
Please refrain from using cell phones, computers etc… this is a time to simply relax and breathe.
The Salt Room is a completely sterile and very delicate environment that requires responsible and respectful conduct at all times.
Drink plenty of water following your salt therapy.
If you use an inhaler, please be sure to bring it with you.

Heated salt stones generate negative ions, shown to help create a sense of peace, and a deeper sense of relaxation.
Full Body Moisturizing: To soothe and hydrate your skin as a relaxing “pamper” to end your treatment.
What Do I Wear? We provide disposable shorts or panties, towels and robes and disposable slippers for the treatment. The changing area is a private section in the treatment room.
If you arranged to book the salt room after your massage, you will be provided with a warm robe and blanket, to simply relax and breathe for 30 minutes in the halotherapy room.
Drink plenty of water throughout the rest of the day!
